Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Casa is looking for volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in court. Must be 21 with excellent references. Volunteers must also attend 28 hours of training. Call 206-296-1121 for more infiormation.
Eastside Bluebills
This is a Boeing retiree volunteer organization. Bluebills provide opportunities for retirees to help others in need and assist charitable and nonprofit organizations. Volunteers meet every third Wednesday at the Bellevue Regional Library from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. For more information call 425-235-3847.
King County Library System's Words on Wheels
This program needs volunteers to select and deliver library materials to homebound patrons. Training is provided. A one year commitment is required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have their own transportation and be able to pass a Washington State Patrol background check. Call 425-369-3235 for more information.

Since 1994, Communities In Schools of Renton has been bringing resources and families together to keep children in school and help them lead productive lives. Make a difference in just one hour a week!
Mentors provide Renton school children with encouragement, guidance, and friendship. A mentor serves as a mature and experienced role model and friend who supports and encourages success. Participants meet for one hour each week during the school day. They play games, sports, do arts & crafts, or just talk. Help kids come to school ready to achieve. Communities In Schools of Renton accepts donations of new pens, pencils, folders, notebooks, markers, coats, clothing, and other items for distribution to children in the Renton community.
